'...you're supposed to be here right now!'

One of the pieces I worked on this week (like I promised ), and the only one I've finished.

I got the idea for this after watching the 1st episode of YYH for, like, the 10th time . Here, Kuwabara is on the side of the road, mourning the death of his rival, Yuusuke, after his gang dragged him away from the boy's wake.... it kinda speaks for itself as to how he's taking the death.

I'm so happy with how this came out, _I_ could cry! It came out almost exactly how I planned it (maybe even a little better) It was my first time using really dramatic lighting effects, like the super dark background/and shadows, as well as the streetlight look I placed over where Kazuma's sitting, and I'm actually really pleased as to how the road railing came out too (never really done a metal finish before), and kuwa's tear! It turned out PERFECT! I was having trouble with it the first time I tried tears in Photoshop, but this one totally worked.

For once, I didn't really plan this to be a 'shonen-ai' piece between Kuwabara and Yuusuke (big shocker, for those who know my work well), but more of an 'unspoken bond' piece; losing a kindred spirit, and the opportunity for a true friendship.

Kazuma Kuwbara belongs to the creator of Yu Yu Hakusho, Yoshihiro Togashi. I'm just worshipping his vision.
